The TRA2020 conference, scheduled for April 2020, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All ECTRI activities planned (Research Village Associations booth, together with FEHRL and FERSI and the BE OPEN 2nd project event) to take place at the Conference were cancelled.
Numerous national and international partners have invested an enormous effort in the programme of TRA2020. Although the physical conference had to be cancelled, efforts did not down the drain. Some of the objectives of TRA2020 were realised by virtual means.
💻 Between the end of April and the end of September, altogether 21 strategic, invited, and special focus sessions from the TRA2020 programme were held online. Most webinars recordings are still available here.
ECTRI together with the European Commission (DG MOVE, DG RTD), ETRA, EUROCONTROL and FEHRL has co-organised the Strategic Session 12 “Impacts of automation and digitalisation on workforce of the transport industries”, where Evangelos Bekiaris, Director, CERTH/Hellenic Institute of Transport and ECTRI President was a speaker.
