EUTRAIN project successfully took place during the 2012 TRB Annual Meeting week in Washington D.C., gaining the maximum from the participation of many organisations around the world in this major event.
After the successful official launching event of the EUTRAIN project in October 2011 in Brussels, this second event aimed specifically at launching the project among the “Network of Related Entities ‐ NRE”. The NRE is a wider network of “players” in transport research (approximately 100) covering the entire world, and who were asked to provide inputs to the project, via the project’s electronic interaction platform and e‐mails; they are also invited to participate in all project workshops and the conference.
