Part of the success of the Seminar is due to the active participation of senior professionals (‘tutors’) in the evaluation of the papers submitted, their contribution to the discussions, their comments and advices given during the seminar to the young researchers. Therefore, the nomination of experienced seniors, with proven publication record (ISI level preferred) to assist in the preparation (evaluation of papers and feedback to full papers) and to take part in the seminar is very much encouraged and appreciated. The aim is to have 1 tutor per 3 young researchers.
The indicative research domains covered during this seminar are:
- Transport economics, policy and transport behaviour
- Transport sustainability and environment
- Transport safety
- Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) & Traffic management
- Transport civil and road, rail or maritime engineering
Nomination of tutors together with a CV, an indication of the preferred domain (out of the 5 proposed as listed above), and a mention of a possible previous involvement in the Seminar should be sent to Matina Loukea from the Organising Committee (mloukea@certh.gr) and Ana Pereira from the ECTRI Secretariat (ana.pereira@ectri.org).
The call for nomination of tutors is closed.
