The goals of the Task Force on “European transport research and policy” (Policy TF) are to advice on how to best promote the interests of ECTRI and to influence the developments of the Horizon 2020 programme and more specifically:
- to promote the positioning of ECTRI regarding the development of the European Research Area and the transport research agenda for Horizon 2020 against the background of transport policy developments;
- to prepare policy advice in support of the European institutions and their policy-makers;
- to identify existing and new opportunities for ECTRI’s participation in strategic EU projects.
