Objectives:
- producing successful FP7 proposals
- answering to EC requests related to freight transport issues
- producing a strategic paper for freight transport (long run)
- influencing the EC framework program and policy issues (at a later stage)
Current activities:
- preparation of a position paper identifying the widespread interests of the TWG participating institutes, definition of terms of references for common understanding and further steps
- preparation of FP7 proposals
The TWG Freight Transport also prepared inputs for the FP7 update. These inputs have been gathered in a report entitled "White spots in the European Transport research traced by ECTRI's Thematic Working Groups". This report was released to the EC in June 2009. |
