The 2024 ITF Summit on Greening Transport: Keeping Focus in Times of Crisis took place from 22 to 24 May in Leipzig, Germany, under the Presidency of Lithuania.
For the second year as part of the main Summit programme and complementing the core sessions, the “Spotlight on Research sessions” reinforced the objective of supporting policy makers to plan their actions for the coming years, with knowledge and insights from researchers.
As part of the cooperation with ITF, ECTRI, TRB, the European Commission and WCTRS organised three sessions, under the theme of the Summit:
- May 22, “Shaping Cities for Sustainable and Inclusive Accessibility”, with Alexandra König (DLR) as speaker.
- May 23, “Bridging the Gap for Wider ZEV Uptake”
- May 24, “Planning for Transport Adaptation and Mitigation”
Furthermore, the ECTRI community was also represented by Caroline Alméras, ECTRI Secretary General.
