On March 29 and 30, in Brussels, ECTRI attended the 5th European conference on results from road transport R&I in Horizon 2020 projects. This event was jointly organized by the European Commission, the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC), the European Green Vehicles Initiative Association for the 2Zero partnership (EGVIAfor2Zero) and the Connected, Cooperation and Automated Mobility Association (CCAM).
Among the 65 projects invited to present their results, 16 ECTRI Members were involved as coordinators or partners in over 40 projects.
The sessions on “Automated driving and the users”, “Inclusive transport system to meet the user needs” and “Sharing the space and the service: new mobility patterns” which are at the core of ECTRI focus and Members’ priorities and expertise were moderated by Ingrid Skogsmo (VTI, ECTRI Vice-President & CCAM Cluster 6 leader) and – Professor Andrés Monzon (UPM & ERTRAC Vice Chair of WG on Urban Mobility ).
ECTRI together with EURNEX were also present promoting open science in transport, by showcasing the BE OPEN project results via a stand at exhibition area.
