The TRB 101st Annual Meeting took place from 9 to 13 of January in Washington, D.C. The focus theme for the 2022 Conference was Innovating an Equitable, Resilient, Sustainable, and Safe Transportation System.
Within the framework of the ECTRI-TRB Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), ECTRI supported several program activities sponsored by the TRB International Coordinating Council (A0020C):
Workshop/Session:
- Workshop 1020 on Social equity, Safety and Urban Mobility (Sunday January 9, 2022)
- Session 1110 Towards a fair transport research agenda for a time of recovery (Monday, January 10, 2022): this session, moderated by Susan Shaheen (UC Berkeley), with a great line up of speakers, was proposed and organised by ECTRI.
Meeting:
- International Coordinating Council Annual Meeting, Monday (January 10, 2022) which is co-chaired by Caroline Alméras, ECTRI Secretary-General since April 2020, together with Christos S. Xenophontos, Deputy Director of Rhode Island DoT.
At the occasion of the TRB International Coordinating Council meeting, the latest ECTRI activities of international relevance were presented to the ICC International and American Partners, as well to the ICC members and friends. More information on the TRB ICC is available from the LinkedIn group.
