SSH CENTRE creates new training programme for researchers and policymakers

ECTRI Member Mobilise VUB invites to join a new training program connecting researchers and policymakers. The program bridges Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH) with sustainability policy and was created by the SSH CENTRE project.

The course, developed by Energy Cities and hosted on the Local Transitions platform, features two interactive lessons that aim to enhance collaboration and strengthen research impact in cities.

Through these lessons, participants will learn how to address research-policy challenges, select effective brokerage strategies, and implement innovative social solutions for climate transition.

Requirements:

  1. The course is designed for those who work in either research or policy settings
  2. All types of researchers are welcome, as are city officials, elected members and technical / administrative policy staff
  3. No previous experience of Social Sciences & Humanities is required
  4. Have an English level allowing you to read and write in an understandable way (ideally B1 English, intermediate)

The initiative is free and accepting enrollments until December 20, 2024.
