On October 10th, the ECTRI Thematic Group on Traffic Management & Modelling hosted an enlightening webinar featuring innovative research and solutions in the field of traffic management.
The webinar included three presentations:
“Computer-optimized Design for Transport Network Management” by Arka Ghosh from DEUSTO, exploring innovative approaches to optimizing transport network design using computational methods.
“Traffic Modelling in Data-Scarce Settings” by Benjamin Kokoll from AIT, showcasing how to potentially create accurate models when data is limited.
“A Multi-Phase Deep Learning Methodology for Short Term Flow Prediction” by Panagiotis Karetsos from HIT/CERTH, presents an advanced deep learning approach for predicting short-term traffic flow which could enhance enhance real-time traffic management systems.
