ECTRI has been appointed member to the Sub-Group 3 “Forgiving roadsides and self-explaining and self-enforcing roads” of the Expert Group on Road Infrastructure Safety (EGRIS) created by the European Commission DG Mobility and Transport. This sub-group is dedicated to pioneering safer road environments through innovative strategies such as forgiving roadsides, and self-explaining and self-enforcing roads.
Isabela Erdelean, Research Engineer at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and rapporteur of ECTRI Thematic Group Safety, will represent ECTRI and contribute to the sub-group’s mission of enhancing road safety across Europe.
