ECTRI, in collaboration with the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) and VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH, under the EU-funded SYMPEUS project, is delighted to announce the holding of the 7th EU-US Symposium on Transportation Research.
This Symposium is a result of the joint efforts between the European Commission and the U.S. Department of Transportation. It serves as a continuation of a series of symposia that bring together European and US experts to explore ongoing transportation research in various selected topic areas.
The 2024 edition, titled ” Global Pathways to Net-Zero: Behavioral, Social, and Technological Research and Innovation Strategies for Transportation Decarbonization,” takes place on June 11 and 12 in Washington D.C., at the National Academies of Science, with support from the Transportation Research Board and the SYMPEUS project.

A gathering of 50 selected experts from both sides of the Atlantic, representing the forefront of transportation research and innovation.
