One week after a very dense and fruitful TRA2024 that attracted the highest number of delegates and countries ever, we would like to extend our deepest thank and appreciation to the Irish Organisers e.g. TII, UCD, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, and CPI, and in particular to Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan and Minister of State Jack Chambers, for making TRA 2024 such a memorable and successful event.
Thanks as well to all stakeholders and partners engaged in the different TRA Committees for contributing to draw such a rich and diverse programme, and for the great collaboration. ECTRI was glad to be part of that journey.
Wrapping up on our presence – ECTRI at TRA2024, it was:

🟢 The organisation of TRA VISIONS young and senior competitions for the cross modal pillar recognizing the brightest transport innovators
🟢 A vibrant ‘Research Village Associations’ stand together with FEHRL & Eurnex E.V. visited by hundreds of delegates for sharing ideas and fostering connections with the European transport research Community
🟢 A partnership with our fully Open-Access Journal, hashtag#ETRR, for publishing the best papers of the Conference
🟢 The organisation of our Spring General Assembly, and of the Mid-Year Meeting of Transportation Research Board International Coordinating Council
🟢 And dozens of meetings and inspiring exchanges with peers, partners and stakeholders on the future of transport and mobility, in margin of the exhibition, sessions and social event
